Where Is Nuanwoo?
Nuanwoo sits in a quiet alley (Huayin Street Lane 24, Alley 6) just 1 minute on foot from Taipei Main Station's MRT R1 Exit. Sounds simple — but Taipei Main Station has more than 20 exits, and first-time visitors get lost inside all the time.
This guide has two parts:

Part 1: Getting to Taipei Main Station
✈️ From Taoyuan Airport
Take the Airport MRT directly to Taipei Main Station — the easiest and most foolproof option:
- About 35-40 minutes on the Express train
- Get off at Taipei Main Station (A1)
- Follow signs toward the MRT; R1 Exit is just a few minutes away
🚄 By HSR / Train (TRA)
Both High Speed Rail and Taiwan Railway stop at Taipei Main Station. After arriving:
- Follow signs for the MRT Tamsui-Xinyi Line
- Find R1 Exit and take the escalator up
- From there it's only a 1-minute walk
🚇 By MRT
Taipei Main Station is where the Bannan Line (blue) and Tamsui-Xinyi Line (red) intersect:
- Whichever line you arrive on, follow signs to R1 Exit
- It's a 1-minute walk once you're out
💡 The only thing you need to remember: find R1 Exit. Once you're there, the four steps below take you straight to our door.
Part 2: R1 Exit to Nuanwoo in Four Steps
Step 1: Arrive at MRT R1 Exit
After taking the escalator or coming up from the underground mall, you'll see the R1 Exit canopy. The circled spot in the photo is your starting point.
Step 2: Turn Left-Back Immediately, Go Down the Stairs
As soon as you exit R1, turn around to your left-rear. You'll see a staircase going down — walk straight down.
Step 3: Turn Right into the Alley
At the bottom of the stairs, turn right immediately. You'll enter a straight alley — this is Huayin Street Lane 24, Alley 6. Just keep walking straight.
Step 4: You've Arrived at Nuanwoo!
Walk about 20 meters down the alley and look for the metal door and green sign on your left. When you see the "Huayin Street Lane 24, Alley 6" address plate, you're here!
